Bible Reading Challenge

Good morning, Ladies of the future Christ the King Church!
I don't know if you're like me, but if you are, you struggle to find time to read the Bible daily. I get up early already to fix breakfast and lunches for my husband and children and stay up later than the rest of the family to start the dishwasher, pick up the last socks and toys off the floor and lock the doors. In between, my time is filled with laundry, dishes, cooking, wiping noses (and bottoms), doctor's appointments, etc. On good days, I also read to my children and even teach them a thing or two. (However, there's never enough time to do that well either.) I've started this blog three times and have been interrupted it pulled away. I pray in the car or shower, at the sink, with the kids, and at many times throughout the day. But finding time to sit down and read the Bible is like "pulling hens' teeth" as my grandma used to say.

I find myself needing a challenge, a gentle push. Rachel Jankovic and her ladies group have given me just the challenge I need, and I want to pass it on to you.  They, and 10,000 women around the world, are challenging and encouraging one another to read the New Testament through this summer, starting June 3rd.

I invite you to join me in reading our Bibles this summer and setting new habits for ourselves. Let's feed, nay feast, on God's Word.
